Events at The Grimoire
The Grimoire loves an event—hosting them, attending them, and supporting authors as they do what they do best. We’re always looking for ways to bring readers, writers, and book lovers together, sharing in the magic of stories.
Coming in mid-late 2026, at The Grimoire Headquarters in Wellington, we will start hosting signings, launches, celebrations, clubs, and other cosy, intimate gatherings—because good stories deserve a proper stage.
2026 is already shaping up to be full of literary magic. We kick off with Steffanie Holmes’ book launch for A Grave Mistake, the second in The Nevermore Murder Club & Smutty Book Coven series, in February.
In March is A Romantic Adventure in Christchurch — NZ’s biggest romance book signing event ever, bringing together 100+ local and international romance authors, with meet-and-greets, book signings, signed special editions, and bookish merch. All romance genres are celebrated, from sweet to spicy, dark to cosy. The Grimoire is the Official Book Seller for the event!
At the end of March we are ecstatic to work with local New Zealand Author, T.R. Sherring, on her debut novel A Tale of Cursed Tides. This is a four book Romantasy series inspired by the Little Mermaid. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting event.
